Dear Sir: I know you are one heck of a busy man, but I hope you can take a couple of minutes on this. My wife and I have been married 42 years, We are both on disablilty, Both on medicare, I just got her out of the hospital a few days ago for her second heart surgery. She is ok but that is not the problem,this is, All of the test doctors before surgery is what took all the money I had for co-pays and now it is the same with after surgery expenses. It never ends but what I am asking if there is any way to get any financial help in this state. I applied for loans, church help, DFACS, free money onthe web, thats a JOKE,loan sharks, I dont know who else , i LIVE  AT 553 Sunnyside Ct. BoxSprings, Georgia 31801,David Dickson. I have gone on the web only to find Marion County is the worst county in the state for funds, for anything.Unfortunatly at present I am behind on my rent, phone, power bill, everything, no food, We get food stamps, $16 a month, there was supposed to be an increase of $44 in 2009,but I guess that never made it to Marion County.With all this in mind, I do have another question, away from my problems, Why do we go to war, spend billions,this I agree with but I do not under stand why our country goes back there and spends billions again to reguild what we just blew up. I am 63 years old and have never seen any country come over here to help with anything they have blown up. Put that money into yours and my forefathers well being,they made this ,so it looks like when you get old, retire,  get on disability, after working your BUTT off for years and years you are just put out to pasture to die, but that cost too much. If there is any sugesstions please reply. Thank you.

Post Open Letter to your Elected Representatives

My fiance is a wonderful man who has always helped other in need. He is a graduate student getting his degree in student affairs to help college-age students reach their dreams. This summer, at the young age of 23, he was diagnosed with a heart condition and the doctors implanted a defibrillator. His insurance has been wonderful, but the hospital still demands $40,000 dollars that the insurance can't pay. As a full time grad. student, my fiance only makes $600 a month (although he has free housing). We would pay the bill ourselves, but can not get a loan (due to student loans and low income) and we can not set up a payment plan because we can only make 10 installments (about $4,000 each!). He is a great young man and does not deserve to be turned into a collection agency that can ruin his credit score and future. He has given hundreds of his own dollars over his lifetime to help his family in need and this time, he needs help. 

Hello everyone!!

Anyone with a heart will be touched by this little angel's fight for her life. She is only 9 years old and been through so much. Her family shared her story on a site that I am a member of "tree of wishes" I hear so many stories on there that just makes me want to do more, but this story really got to me. I want to share it with everyone!!! Please, take a minute out and read this little girl's stoy, and how she continues to fight. I am a 34 yr old mother of three children. I have worked for the past 15 years in the Administrative field and had to leave my job for health reasons. I was diagnosed the first part of March with a mass on my heart and referred to Dr. Michael Reardon in Houston to meet with me and make a final diagnosis of the mass. It was determined that the mass is solid and blocking the blood flow to my brain.

I am seeking any help that anyone can give me, I don't have insurance and can't afford the medical bills.
